Lumination
pays special attention to protection and conservation of the Red Sea
environment and works under principles of sustainable development.
All our guests are aware of and strictly follow legal regulations
concerning environment protection.
Please read carefully excerpts from LAW
No 102 (1983)
- Do not touch or break any coral or shells
- Access to diving areas is recommended at designated points only. This
reduces damage to reef areas
- It is prohibited to access any closed area and to walk or anchor on any
reef area. Please use marked access points
- Fish feeding is prohibited as it upsets the biological balance of the
reef
- Fishing and spear fishing are not allowed in protected areas
- It is prohibited to throw refuse of any kind into the sea
- Do not collect or damage any material, either living or dead (corals,
shells, fish, plants, fossils, etc.)
- Offenders are subject to prosecution according to the terms of Law 102
of 1983.
In addition to this, Lumination practices NO GLOVE - NO TOUCH and other
new environmentally friendly policies.
Lumination supports HEPCA (Hurghada Environmental Protection and
Conservation Association).
